  1. I'm happy to report that as of August, 2014 Gary Walker is alive and well and still living in Nashville. Although he is no longer in the recording industry, he does own and operate a chain of record and comic book stores in Tennessee and Kentucky, as he has done for the past 37 years. I recently put from 45s the six sides he recorded in the 50's onto a CD and have really enjoyed listening to them. Gary Walker is a great man and it has been a joy to have known and worked for him for the last 30 years. I appreciate your blog and it frequently shows up on searches when I am looking for information about vintage Country artists and records. Keep up the great work!
