Your lineup seems to match the 1935 group pretty closely, though I always wondered if it was in fact Jimmy Dorsey playing clarinet (he recorded for Decca in New York, if I recall, right before or right after the Dixie Demons sessions, and of course McKinley was his drummer). Lytell makes more sense. Just out of curiosity, what was your source for the lineup?Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15887737884087502909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8373530206023936152.post-59761567196030913802014-11-02T22:49:33.344+07:002014-11-02T22:49:33.344+07:00Sorry forgot the excellent guitar of Perry BotkinSorry forgot the excellent guitar of Perry BotkinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8373530206023936152.post-64934057451939677232014-10-31T17:03:39.758+07:002014-10-31T17:03:39.758+07:00Jimmy Lytell-clt; Ward Levy or George Yorke-sb; Ra...Jimmy Lytell-clt; Ward Levy or George Yorke-sb; Ray McKinley-dm; Frank Novak-sound effects; Daniel Hornsby-voc.<br />Jimmy Lytell was musical director of NBC at this time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
