  1. The Country Cut-Ups that cut the Town House album, THLP-1000 "Country Cut-Ups Go To College" was actually a Dallas-Texas based bluegrass band with Eddie Shelton on banjo.
The album is apparently from 1964.
Source article: The History of Early Bluegrass in Texas from the Journal of Texas Music History Volume 4, Issue 2. 2004.

The Cumberland LP is by a west coast bar band that had moved to Nashville, that Country Cut-Ups included Bobby Black (steel guitar), Larry Black (lead guitar), and Hoyet Henry (bass).
