Billboard 2nd November 1959 stated Kirby Buchanan, rodeo contestant and a member of the Rodeo Cowboys’ Association is on an extended deejay tour to promote his first recording, a sacred EP on the Starday label titled “INSPIRATIONAL SONGS OF FAITH”. Kirby is backed on the works by the Jordanaires, Del Wood, Lightnin’ Chance, Grady Martin and Buddy Harman.
